Description
Chalet “Maja” is located on Tara, one of the most beautiful mountains in Serbia. It was built in 2016, at 898 m above sea level. See location on Google Maps.
It is 25 m from Zaovinsko Lake, 550 m from the branch “Lazići”, 650 m from the restaurant “Tarsko Lake” and 8.5 km from Mitrovica.
The terrace offers a beautiful view of the lake, which is located directly from the beach.
On the ground floor of the log cabin there is a bathroom and a living room with a kitchen and a dining room. Upstairs are two galleries, on which there is one bed.
The log cabin is heated by electricity (“Norwegian” radiator). Parking space is located next to the same houses.
Visitors have the opportunity to enjoy swimming, diving and fishing on the lake whose water is very clean and which, with a little processing, is used for drinking.
A motor boat is at guests ’disposal, so they can enjoy a ride on the lake which is the jewel of the Tara mountain.
On Tara, which was declared a national park in 1981 due to its beauty, nature conservation and natural rarities, there are a large number of trim and bicycle paths. For all nature lovers, the Banjska stena lookout is especially attractive.
Lake Spajići, which is located on the other side of the dam, also attracts a lot of visitors’ attention.
Those interested can go on a trip to Mokra Gora (Mećavnik, Sarganska osmica) or to the Rača monastery.
