Forest house TARA

The Forest House was built in 1958 and was completely renovated in December 2016. It is located in Tara National Park, on Tara Mountain, and is one of the first holiday homes in this part of Tara. The house is divided into two apartments, with separate entrances and on different levels. Rent the small apartment for a couple, the large apartment for a family vacation, or the entire house for a group (up to 6 adults). It is nestled in a pine grove, isolated from noise and passersby, yet just a minute’s walk from the Omorika hotel, 50m from the nearby market, 150m from tennis courts, a soccer field, and the Jeremičak restaurant. Close to the house is a walking and fitness trail. The Forest House is “Pet friendly,” so you can bring your pet on vacation. It has free parking, a laundry room with a washing machine and dryer, and a large yard suitable for children’s play or where you can freely let your pet roam. The house’s capacity is a maximum of ten adults. We are the perfect place for individual travelers, couples, families, or larger groups! Nearby is a skiing and sledding track, sports fields, a horse stable, an ethno village, Crnjeskovo viewpoint, monastic residences with a church, a bit further is Hajdučka česma and the Jarevac pond and dam. From us, you can also take trips to Mitrovac, the lakes in Zaovine, to Mokra Gora, visit the town of Mećavnik, Zlatibor, Bajina Bašta, or swim in Perućac Lake.

The Home apartment is the larger apartment of 45m2, designed for four people. It features two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds, a modernly equipped kitchen with a dining area, and a bathroom. Heating is electric, with Norwegian radiators. In front of the apartment, there’s another spot for enjoyment, a large wooden table and comfortable benches overlooking the pine forest, a fire pit, and a barbecue. This corner can become your outdoor living room or dining area.

The smaller apartment, Cave, is designed to be your private cave! This 25m2 apartment is ideal for two people. The well-preserved stone walls and wooden beams date back to the 1950s. This rustic space, combined with a modern kitchen, a stone bathroom, a fireplace, and a cave where you will sleep, will provide you with a completely new mountain stay experience! The heating is underfloor, plus an additional heating unit. As with the larger apartment, outside, on the stone pavement, there is a seating area, a fire pit, and a grill.
